I had a great time capturing some of the 1st Annual Robson Moura Nova Uniao Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Camp! It was without a doubt a fun time in Tampa, Florida. 1st Degree Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and highly accomplished Jiu Jitsu Competitor Jory Malone taught an exciting seminar on the 93 Guard.
Jory’s seminar on the 93 guard was unique in that not only did it cover some exciting techniques but he provided a mindmap of his entire clinic, as well as a lengthy discussion on fundamental movement. His discussion of fundamental movement served to warn the students that without fundamental movement, they will not be able to perform the techniques properly; in other words: they must train the jiu jitsu techniques, as well as general athletic principles, to achieve maximal success.
